The Job
Ugo Basile is currently looking for a Senior Product Manager to join our Sales & Marketing team.
As a Senior Product Manager you will work closely with most of the company’s departments including R&D, Operations and our Indirect Channels worldwide. You will support and collaborate with customers involved in various research disciplines ranging from neuroscience to pharmacology, animal physiology and veterinary science. You will ensure complete scientific and marketing support to the articulated Ugo Basile suite of products, will identify customer’s requirements and proactively seek for unsatisfied market needs to maintain and enlarge our product portfolio. Additionally, you will provide both on and off site pre- and post sales technical and scientific support worldwide, especially in Europe and emerging markets.
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Product Lifecycle Management, market sensing and competition analysis.
- Interfacing with the in-house and external staff on support, marketing and sales related matters.
- Participation to scientific conferences worldwide.
- Visits to customers and partners worldwide, including involvement in equipment promotion, installation and training at customer sites.
- Design and production of marketing and technical documentation.
- This position will involve approximately 20% travel.
Your profile
To qualify for this position, you must have:
- BS degree in Life Science (MS or PhD is preferred).
- Life Science Industry experience, leadership skills with ability to motivate and inspire.
- Technical expertise and interest in technology and marketing.
- Enthusiasm, motivation, excellent communications skills and willingness to travel.
